Andy Zhugli

Prior to being part of Albenecon, Mr. Zhugli spent almost a decade as a structural engineering expert at EM consulting, where he performed structural design, management, and product development for a multitude of clients foreign and domestic. He got involved in many infrastructure projects that spread across industries and freelanced in a multitude of matters including; geotechnical assessments and designs, structural designs in steel, aluminum and reinforced concrete, energy transmission designs, hydropower designs, preparation of technical specifications, technical group management, implementation of quality management systems, product development, tendering assistance for foreign companies bidding for projects in Albania, and many other technical support services.

Prior to his freelancing career he was part of Black and Veatch Corporation and Antillean Engineering Ltd. in Orlando, USA, where he was engaged as a civil engineer and geotechnical engineer respectively. In these companies he performed various structural and geotechnical designs and got involved in many important projects both within the USA and internationally. 

Mr. Zhugli received a BS in Civil Engineering from the University of Central Florida, in 2005 and an MS in Infrastructure Project Management from the University of Liverpool, in 2013, graduating at the top 10% at both these institutions. Mr. Zhugli is licensed to practice civil engineering in the State of Florida and is in possession of numerous structural design and supervision licenses in Albania. He is a member of American Society of Civil Engineers, since the year 2007.
