Professor of the National & Kapodistrian University of Athens, Greece. MSc/PhD in Electrical and Computer Engineering (Carnegie Mellon University, USA, 1993); BSc in Electrical Engineering (University of Bridgeport, USA, 1989). Project Coordinator of CBHE 2017 project ELEMEND (Budget 890,000 euros). ERASMUS coordinator for TEI of Sterea Ellada 2005 – 2019. R&D in smart metering and sensors, RES microgrid optimization, gamification for education, magnetic non-destructive testing techniques; measurement technology; modelling and simulation; system optimization. Has published more than 90 papers in international journals and conferences, is an associate editor in IEEE Transactions on Magnetics and a reviewer for over 20 journals.
