Driton Profka

Mr. Profka is an Environment & Energy Engineer and finished his studies by the Polytechnic University of Tirana in 2001. He has over 18 years of professional experience in a number of energy sector related areas with heat, ventilation and air conditioning project design and implementation, energy efficiency projects, rational use of energy, carrying out energy audits at service buildings (hospitals, schools, kindergartens) including technical design for the implementation of energy efficiency measures, capacity building and training needs assessment for energy; project design & implementation for solar hot water for households and service buildings, project design for solar photovoltaic, etc. Mr. Profka worked as Project Leader for Energy and Environment by Swiss Foundation International (2002-2010). During 2010-2018 he has been working with the UNDP Solar Water Heating project. Mr. Profka has been an invited Lector by the Polytechnic University of Tirana, Environmental Engineering Department (2017-2014) and since 2014 he is a full time Lector by this department. In April 2017, he got the title “Doctor of Science” at Polytechnic University of Tirana with the thesis “On improvement of the Energy Performance of housing stock in Tirana”. Mr. Profka is author and co-author in many scientific articles published in International and National Scientific Journals and participated in different International Scientific Conferences
