Dr. Erjola Keci, born in Tirana, Albania,is currently Deputy Dean for Research at “AleksandërMoisiu” University, Durrës, Albania, Faculty of Professional Studies; she is lecturer of Biology, Microbiology and Genetics at Department of Natural and Applied Sciences, Faculty of Professional Studies. Ms. Keci holds a Bachelor Diploma in Biology, Tirana University, Faculty of Natural Sciences, (BSc in Biology 5-years studies, 2006), MSc in Biology, Tirana University, Faculty of Natural Sciences (2010) and PhD in Conservation Biology, Tirana University, Faculty of Natural Sciences (2014). Dr.Keci has completed the international multi-disciplinary qualification on Governance and management of fisheries and maritime policies, at CNR (Centro NazionaledelleRicerche) – National Research Centre, Italy and Palermo University (Laboratory of molecular taxonomy and Laboratory of population genetics and evolution) for a period of six months (2014). Dr.Keci is engaged in International projects related to nature conservation/protection policy, natural/water resources use & management and water quality monitoring programmes; she has advanced knowledge of the EU environmental acquis. Dr.Keci is the author of Biology, textbook for students of medicinal sciences;ISBN: 978-9928-4305-1-9. She is author and co-author of several national and international technical reports, monograph and more than 35 (thirty-five) publications in peer reviewed journals at, national, regional and international level.
