Jelena Caiko

Dr.sc.ing, professor. The fields of scientific interests are telecommunications, machine learning, electronics and electrical systems, cloud computing systems, Internet of things. She is a member of the Latvia section of the International Institute of electrical and Electronics Engineers (IEEE).

She is a contributor to teaching materials in ERASMUS+ 561525-EPP-1-2015-1-LV-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP “Improvement of master-level education in the field of physical sciences in Belarusian universities”, “Physics”; TEMPUS “Development of Training Network for Improving Education in Energy Efficiency” 530379-TEMPUS-1-2012-1-LV-TEMPUS-JPCR, in Erasmus+: “Applied curricula in space exploration and intelligent robotic systems (Apple)”, and “Electrical Energy Markets and Engineering Education” 573545-EPP-1-2016-1-DE-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP.

She was project coordinator, author of proposal TEMPUS project ERASMUS + Capacity-building in Higher Education Call for proposals EAC/A05/2017 Proposal number: 598989-EPP-1-2018-1-LV-EPPKA2-CBHE-JP Proposal title: “Regional Educational Center for The Development and Integration Of Renewable Energy Sources Into The Energy System”.

She is an author of more than 50 scientific publications, scientific monographs and textbooks.
