Qendresa Kukaj Researcher of political and development economics Is a Fellow of the USAID TLP program, she has completed her master studies in Economic Development at Vanderbilt University in TN, USA. Ms. Kukaj currently works as a Project Specialist and Lecturer at Universum College. She teaches two courses: Academic Writing and Research Methods. In addition to lecturing, she is also involved in the development and implementation of various projects within the college. Projects of her specialization include those for promoting entrepreneurship among young people, preventing plagiarism in Kosovo’s higher education institutions, developing a master’s program in sustainable food systems, and organization of a national student scientific conference. She has previously worked for Play2Educate, a Colorado based organization, in programs for preventing ethnic, political and religious extremism. Her work for the organization included coordinating three programs: EMpowerment Through Play, Local Youth Peacebuilders, and Building trust with security actors. She also served as a monitoring and evaluation officer for these programs and intends to bring her experience in the field to this project.
